At home documents moments of tenderness, comfort and joy as experienced and expressed by individuals whose Queer and Black identities are directly linked. Through working closely and collaboratively with their subjects, ensuring that they feel at home in their spaces and in their bodies – bodies which both mark, and are marked by, their lived experiences.

This artwork is part of One Queer City, a project featuring works by artists Jean Borbridge, Dayna Danger, Shawna Dempsey & Lorri Millan, Larry Glawson, and Ally Gonzalo in bus shelters throughout Winnipeg. One Queer City is curated by Blair Fornwald, Director/Curator, School of Art Gallery, University of Manitoba.
